![]() That being said, I have a 13" and really wish it was retina. I was also thinking of getting a better, bigger IPS monitor but those are few and far between and way more expensive in Mexico.Īh, I can see the tradeoff. When you compare the performance, the 13" air does as well as the 13" pro, but of course the latter has to push more pixels. Thanks, I do like the 15" pro but I appreciate portability even more, so the 13" pro is sort of a compromise between that and the macbook airs. I am sorta amazed at what a good deal some of the refurbs are, esp. Ditto the 15" over the 13" or 11", unless you need maximum portability, but you've already got that covered. I think a retina screen for anyone who cares about image quality is definitely worth it. ![]() And a better and bigger screen, and 256 flash storage instead of 128. The refurb store has a 2.0 quad core 15" retina for $1439, and even thought the processor is slower since it's a quad core the geekbench is 12168, twice as fast for something like PS. That's a 2.6 dual core, geekbench would put multicore score at 6605. ![]() ![]() Hate to be all contrary, but I figure a new 13" retina would be what, $1300 US?
